Giveaway winners!

Thank you to everyone who left comments on my last post.  I appreciate your good wishes.  I used an online random number generator to pick 5 comments, though I forgot to take screenshots to share the results.  I did take note of the winning comments though!  Here is the list of winners:

  1. Ann  (A Good Yarn)
  2. hjrogers (no blog)
  3. Marge (creeksidequilts)
  4. Deb (VT Quilter)

I've sent the five of you emails.  Patterns will be sent out as soon as you get back to me with your selection. Enjoy!

And just because it seems blah to have a post without pictures, here's what came home with me on Saturday. I’ve never before bought this much fabric at once, ever, but it really couldn’t be avoided!

  3. Congrats to the winners. I love those fabrics you came home with. I'm going to be visiting a new quilt shop tomorrow and am hoping to be able to share my treasures next week.

  4. Gosh Joanne - I'm thrilled to be a winner! Congratulations to all the other winners. That is a terrific haul of fabrics but this doesn't bode well for my trip to the fabric store with a friend today.

  6. I went to an AWESOME sale today. Windham Fabrics and others for $5 a yard. I got 108" backing for $8 per yard. The shop is small and we waited hours for our fabric to be cut . My fabric was so heavy, it was hard to carry. I'm glad I'm not the only one who indulged. I keep seeing stash busting comments...... What can I say, it was too tempting. What's another 25 yards. After all, 4 1/2 yards is backing!

  7. Okay, spill it! What are you going to do with these??!! I love the blue and green batiks!! Reminds me of the Sea Swept quilt on the cover of Quilt Sampler (and ya, I bought the kit, hey it's Sarasota, FL, one of my LQS's!) Love how you say "it couldn't be avoided" LOL
