Squirrel!

You know how a dog can seem perfectly happy then see a squirrel and any other thought flies out of its head, replaced by “Must chase squirrel!!!!”?

Here’s my squirrel today.

It really needed chasing.  I tried really hard to stay focused but then my green thread ran out while I was quilting the tree skirt and I gave in and started cutting into the project I really wanted to be chasing.

Don’t worry, focused hand quilting will continue in the evenings!

  3. Scrumptious fabrics. I can see how they would be distracting!

  4. It's easy to see why those scrumptious fabrics would be your squirrel! ;-) I can't wait to see what you're going to make from them.

  9. Strange! I got into something new today too - I don't know why. It's a 10 minute block and is super easy, so I made enough for a donation quilt and will add a border when i get them put together. I'm not sure why I did that.

  10. Ha! Fall colours made me get my squirrel on a few weeks ago. That and a great Scrap-a-Palooza pattern of Cynthia's! These are gorgeous.
