What if you rounded the edges of the snowflake blocks? They seem to be to angular for the rest of the quilt. Just a thought.Sandra Walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17737049269550479188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3805690613494438271.post-58690176159912468582015-06-28T18:26:38.794-05:002015-06-28T18:26:38.794-05:00Just sayin'... Might have to give it a try this winter; I never did keep a pillow for myself. As for the quilt layout, it looks good to me, very good!Sandra Walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17737049269550479188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3805690613494438271.post-1223350104700063062015-06-27T21:11:25.447-05:002015-06-27T21:11:25.447-05:00I took geometry too, but it left my brain a long, ...I took geometry too, but it left my brain a long, long time ago! I do still remember angle degrees, etc., as well as copy enlargements but what you have done just amazes me. I love it, even though it tired my brain to follow it all. It's going to be beautiful. ---"Love"---"Love"https://www.blogger.com/profile/14253789635330034057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3805690613494438271.post-68574583712598033152015-06-27T19:35:22.007-05:002015-06-27T19:35:22.007-05:00If I hadn't seen the second version I wouldn&#...If I hadn't seen the second version I wouldn't have appreciated why you have been unhappy with the March version. I'm having the same issue with a quilt I've been working on - the border design I've been making is completely out of scale with the main part of the quilt and needs a complete rethink. Your quilt is looking good and you are a talented quilter so I know that you will figure it all out.a good yarnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16149377639622327630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3805690613494438271.post-66581858855729607422015-06-26T22:41:09.731-05:002015-06-26T22:41:09.731-05:00I really like it with the bigger snowflakes. The layout works well. I think either way with the snowflakes works too; each one being different or making them all the same. Good luck with your decision. I am sure it will be just perfect. It will be another wonderful quilt made and designed by you!Sandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00813637655711555894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3805690613494438271.post-90923237938078205272015-06-25T19:32:02.867-05:002015-06-25T19:32:02.867-05:00The bigger snowflakes look great in the quilt.
